With the letter dated 2.06.2018 and numbered E.46079, Demiroğlu Bilim University, the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, was given permission to establish a Technology Transfer Office. On 16.01.2019, Istanbul Bilim University Technology Transfer Office A.Ş. started its operations.
The first and most important goal of the research strategy of Demiroğlu Bilim University, the first health university in our country, is the desire to create a "Health Center of Excellence". Today, both the in vivo experimental research center and the technology transfer office are of great importance for the production of domestic and national technological medical products with economic value for our country.
Our university has established an Experimental Medicine Center (DTM) and a Technology Transfer Office (TTO) in TUBITAK Marmara Technopolis (MARTEK). In addition, its construction continues in the in vitro laboratory. This association encourages cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and benefiting from external funds. The projects received are monitored and evaluated by the project coordination center in the technology transfer office.
For the management and licensing services of Intellectual Industrial Rights, a Patent Engineer has started to work within the body of TUBITAK Gebze/Kocaeli Marmara Teknokent TTO (MARTEK-TTO) as of 04.01.2021. In this context, companies in Teknokent are provided with comprehensive support and information on issues such as Trademark Services, Patent Services, Industrial Design, Foreign Trademark Registration, and Legal Transactions. Entrepreneurship and incorporation activities are carried out for each project that benefits from support programs and has P&D qualifications in the next 12 months.
